Lower Blade Guard & Dust Chute Adapter
The lower blade guard works to effectively minimise the amount of sawdust being blown back at the operator. This guard also protects the operator from the back of the blade when the saw is resting. Made of heavy duty plastic, this guard will still allow the saw to cut down to 8.9 degrees. The plastic ensures there is some give should a piece of timber become wedged. By fitting this guard, the saw head can no longer be tilted for compound cuts.
The Dust Chute Adapter fits on the back of the saw and makes it easy to attach dust extraction.
Barrier Guard
The new barrier guard now wraps around the side of the current guarding. This allows the operator to see the blade and the timber for accurate cutting and effectively protects the operator from the blade.
